2009年05月04日 18:30
高木です。

iEARN-Taiwan、ドリスさんから、次のご案内があります。

4年間の台湾文部省主催で、SSEI( ( Secondary Schools Exchange International Program )
プログラムがスタートしたという案内です。

1.Visiting Taiwan・ inviting international students to come to Taiwan to study
2.Visit tours from Taiwan・ encouraging students from Taiwan to study abroad.

Program A: International Students to Experience Lives in Taiwan.
Program B: Program for International Students Serving in Taiwan as Volunteer Workers.
Program C: Overseas Learning Experience Program.
Program D: Overseas Technology Training Program.

まずは、各ウェブサイトをご覧ください。
4年間のプログラムなので、皆さんの学校としても十分に
検討して、年間授業・行事に組み入れてくださいとドリスは
皆さんへ呼びかけています。 関心のある方は、ご連絡ください。

Subject: SSEI program from Taiwan -- Taiwan Secondary Schools look for International Partners to visit Taiwan or visit your country

Dear iEARN Assembly members,
I would like to ask your help to pass on this message to iEARN schools in your country, in particular for secondary/ middle school level. Starting from this year, MOE of Taiwan would like to aim at developing an international approach to secondary school education. The program is called SSEI ( Secondary Schools Exchange International Program ) at the website: http://www.exchange.edu.tw/web/index1.asp The detailed explanation can be found at http://www.exchange.edu.tw/Latest_news/MOE_2.pdf.
In brief, SSEI consists of two types of programs---之isiting Taiwan・ inviting international students to come to Taiwan to study; and, 天isit tours from Taiwan・ encouraging students from Taiwan to study abroad. Interested schools can visit the website and find out their potential partner schools to collaborate.
iEARN Taiwan also takes the honor to be put links on the main website and also the news about 2009 NDYS. We look forward to your visit to the website and hope to see your possible visit to Taiwan with your students through this program. This program will last for 4 years, so you will have enough time to make your plan.

Warm regards,
Doris

Dear iEARN friends,
Thanks for some of you have replied on this message. And I would like to share their further concerns.
Since this is a four-year program and also financially supported by MOE of Taiwan, I do encourage you to take a second look and forward this news
to the educational institutes you have worked with. To be brief, Taiwan schools can receive some certain amount of financial supports from SSEI, which
in return can reduce the cost for either the international schools・visiting Taiwan or Taiwan schools・visiting yours. I do hope this can become a great opportunity for iEARN to prosper and be known to more Taiwan schools.
There are four types of collaboration as follows: http://www.exchange.edu.tw/Web/Searching.asp
Program A: International Students to Experience Lives in Taiwan.
Program B: Program for International Students Serving in Taiwan as Volunteer Workers.
Program C: Overseas Learning Experience Program.
Program D: Overseas Technology Training Program.
This is a school-based program, so each school provide different opportunities to their international partners. It is my hope that we altogether can create a 努inwin・benefit for all iEARN schools around the world in the light of cultural understanding , sharing learning!
Look for more inputs on this!

Warm regards,
Doris
