”80 new iEARN-school in GEORGIA”
Pavle_Tvaliashvili - 10:11pm Oct 4, 2008 EDT

Dear iEARN Family, I am happy to announce that iEARN-GEOAGIA (GEARN) with collaboration DLF (www.dlf.ge) Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia starts new training program. In this training program in October 240 Teacher in 3 city (Tbilisi, Rustavi, Gori) will join iEARN.

Training course will be during 3 weekends.

Please send greetings to training participants.

With regards,
Pavle Tvaliashvili
coordinator
iEARN-GEORGIA

Hello Pavle,

When I read yours, more interests in the way you organize trainings.
May I ask further questions?
1. How do you train trainers, and how many trainers do you have?
I often ask our Ministry of Education to train international teachers and put at least one trained and authorized global coordinator at Board of Education of each city. They will bridge schools and world educational networks like iEARN. In short, Japan needs thousands of coordinators to link schools and schools, teachers and teachers, students and students, projects and projects. Then Japanese students can join many iEARN projects without worrys. I wonder how is it in your country?

2.The discussion, you mentioned, "how iEARN projects is possible to integrate and found that teachers needs to do some projects" is important for us too. Sometimes,.. (no) most of the cases, teachers do not know iEARN itself. iEARN-Japan always try to find the way how to spread iEARN in Japan. How did you make it in Georgia ?

Yours, Yoko

Hello Yoko,
With pleasure,
I will be happy support you, if I can do it.

iEARN in Georgia (GEARN) is managed by two associations SFSA (Schools-Family Society- association) and SIQA (Georgian Association of Educational Initiatives) we already have few trainers who are in iEARN few years. in this spring we organize competition for Georgian schools , who will do best iEARN projects at school.before we organise training sessions for teachers, 10 winner teacher was invited in Summer camp with students. they participate in Trainig of trainers , organized by iEARN-Georgia coordinators Paata Papava and Pavle Tvaliashvili. after 8 only trainers were invited to be iEARN trainers and we did extra 2 days ToT for them. all nomber of iEARN trainers is 15 in Georgia now. trainers already trained 480 teachers in Georgia. and they did about 200 Georgian national iEARN-projects. only part of this projects will be finnaly published in GEARN web-site as approved projects.

all this 200 projects were started by training participants. they are fasilitators and they are teachers of different subjects. they already have sugestions how is possible to use this concret project in differenet subject as part of national curriculum.

but some theachers find other ways to use projects in different subject.

I think we need to have some joint project like joint winter school for Japanees and Georgian teachers. May be Japan embassy in Georgia will support this project? what do you think?

Hi Pavle,

I read your "how to" with interests.Thank you very much. I will bring yours back to JEARN as an successful example of iEARN, and see how we can apply in our situateion.

One quesion: during your trainning sessions, do you go into iEARN Colloabration Center and train "how to use Forums" as iEARN community ?

One more quesion: GEARN asks members to pay for getting membership and annual fee? If so, how much? How do you carry on GEARN office?
If you do not mind, let me know.

Your idea to involve Japam Embassy for some joint project sounds nice. If you push from your side to the embassy, it helps us too. Yours, Yoko

Those who are familiar with the genre will like Arknights, since it delivers about everything you would expect from a tower defense game. However, as with other similar games, success here requires not only plopping troops in random spots, but also taking into account the many various features of each unit, such as their jobs, range, attacks, and the large range of talents they come with.

YOKO

    アトランタのある「GEORGIA ON MY MIND」のGEORGIA州と、

    SFSA (Schools-Family Society- association)
SIQA (Georgian Association of Educational Initiatives)
